Seren's 9-Month Fitness Transformation

How Seren Transformed Her Strength and Confidence with NattyHealth Personal Training.

Seren's Journey Before Strength & Fitness Training with NattyHealth

Before working with me, Seren was attending gym classes six days a week, often doing two classes a day to burn body fat. She had let her fitness slide a bit since leaving university, where she had a background in competitive rowing. Although she was active, Seren was more comfortable doing cardio than using gym equipment, and her approach was heavily cardio-focused with minimal resistance training.


The NattyHealth Approach

Seren initially set a goal to drop body fat for her wedding. However, through our in-person training sessions, I showed her that by building muscle in the right areas, she could achieve a more toned, tight appearance without losing muscle tone. We shifted her focus from excessive cardio to incorporating resistance training just twice a week, which was enough to deliver noticeable results while still allowing her to enjoy her gym classes.

Over the course of 9 months, Seren experienced remarkable changes:

  • Leg pressing three times her body weight, showcasing significant strength gains

  • Enhanced muscle tone, contributing to a leaner, tighter appearance

  • Improved running speed and endurance, making park runs and spin classes more enjoyable and effective

  • Greater confidence, feeling unstoppable in 30-minute classes as the weights became easy compared to her personal training sessions

  • The ability to dress with confidence, no longer feeling the need to cover up out of insecurity

Where Seren is Now

Seren is now in maintenance mode, continuing to train with me twice a week and attending gym classes daily. She participates in more park runs, benefiting from her improved running performance. Seren maintains a healthy diet with a focus on carbohydrate control, especially when travelling, which has helped her stay consistent with her fitness goals.
