How Abi Transformed Her Strength and Fitness with NattyHealth Personal Training

Goal: To get stronger as fitness classes were becoming easy and not challenging enough.

Training Approach: In-person training with 1 PT session per week, alongside 4 gym classes and 1 run per week.

Before working with me, Abi attended fitness classes five days a week but felt she was just cruising along without a real challenge. She lacked the motivation to push herself and often relied on class instructors to guide her progress. Although she was fit, she didn’t feel truly strong or capable of achieving more. Mentally, she felt okay, but not entirely fulfilled with her progress.

Abi started working with me through in-person training sessions once a week, combined with her existing routine of four gym classes and one run per week. After seeing the positive impact of strength training, her goals evolved. We pivoted from general strength training, to targeted strategies. Specifically building strength and endurance in her legs and frame muscles (Shoulders & Triceps.)

Over the course of 5 months, Abi experienced significant changes:


  • Became stronger in gym classes, now attending four days a week with improved performance.

  • Improved running endurance, running longer and faster once a week.

  • Achieved an impressive milestone by deadlifting double her body weight.

  • Increased confidence in her physical strength and resilience.

  • Developed a love for working out and felt stronger and more capable at age 42.

  • Gained a newfound appreciation for her body and what it can achieve.


Where Abi is Now


Abi continues to train with me once a week and has taken her fitness journey to new heights. She now trains six days a week consistently, challenges herself with park runs and half marathons, and continues to set and achieve new fitness goals, realising her potential.
